This is a seven-year-old Danish single malt from Fary Lochan, selected by The Liquid Madness as single cask LM00221. It was distilled in June 2014, matured entirely in an Oloroso sherry hogshead and bottled in August 2021 at cask strength, 60.3%. Only 430 bottles were filled, in 50cl size.
The distillery works with local ingredients, and the malt for this whisky was smoked over dried nettles. It is described as fruity and spicy with a pleasant sweetness, and with herbal and spice notes. No colouring or chill-filtration is used.
