Fary Lochan Season 1 – The Pleaser is a Danish single malt from the Fary Lochan distillery in Give, Jutland. It is made from Danish malted barley, distilled in copper pot stills and bottled at 47% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, which bring together vanilla, fruit and a warmer sherry character.
The nose is toffee, salt, liquorice and soft sherry. On the palate, fruit and gentle vanilla sit alongside English liquorice and a light saltiness. The finish is long and warming, with liquorice, toffee and a hint of sherry.
