This is a 12 year old Speyside single malt from an undisclosed distillery, bottled by Ferg & Harris at 55.7% ABV. It was finished in first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry hogsheads, which gave a very dark amber colour to an otherwise light, fruity whisky.
The nose brings toffee, baked figs and rich raisins. On the palate there is a quick hit of sherry sweetness, then lighter fruity notes. It coats the mouth and throat, and the finish is warm and smooth.
