This is an 8-year-old single malt from the Swedish distillery Mackmyra, bottled by Fib Whisky on 29 May 2023 at 45.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It has natural colour and has not been chill filtered.
The whisky matured in a green tea cask and was then finished in a first-fill Amontillado sherry cask. The outturn is 144 bottles.
The nose is sweet pear with zesty fresh citrus and intense menthol. On the palate the green tea character is pronounced, rounded out by silky dried fruit from the sherry. The finish is full, rich and long.
