Filey Bay Flagship is a single malt from Yorkshire, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, in a bourbon-matured style. It comes from the Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery, set up by farmer Tom Mellor and business partner David Thompson, with advice from the late Dr Jim Swan. The barley and the spring water both come from Mellor's Wold Top Farm.
It is creamy, fruity and full-bodied, with citrus, honey and caramel to the fore.
