Filey Bay IPA Finish, Batch 2, is a Yorkshire single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV. It comes from the Spirit of Yorkshire distillery at Hunmanby, where the barley and spring water come from the neighbouring Wold Top Farm.
The whisky was finished in former IPA casks, a project made with the sister company Wold Top Brewery.
The nose has soft tinned fruit, fizzy sweet powder and chewing gum. The palate brings plenty of fruit fizz, some spice, peach and melon, with a full, balanced mouthfeel. The finish is elegant and long.
