Filey Bay Sherry Cask Reserve Batch 5 (70cl)

Filey Bay Sherry Cask Reserve Batch 5 is the fifth release of this limited edition from the Spirit of Yorkshire distillery, with 2,000 bottles produced. It marries whiskies matured in two kinds of ex-sherry cask, drawn from some of the distillery's rarest maturing stocks. The ex-Moscatel casks add a brighter character and a subtle creaminess, while the ex-Pedro Ximenez casks bring richness, dried fruit and festive flavours. It is natural in colour and non-chill filtered. It is described as fruity and complex, with dark brown sugar, marmalade, currants, walnuts and festive spices.
