Florentis Vin Santo Italian Whisky (70cl)

Florentis Vin Santo is a Tuscan whisky made by Winestillery, the project of the Chioccioli Altadonna family. It is made from Italian barley, rye and wheat, fermented spontaneously for six days in terracotta amphorae and single-distilled in a hybrid copper Frilli pot still. It comes in a 70cl bottle. The whisky is matured in Tuscan oak casks that previously held Vin Santo, and the colour is an intense amber. The nose has honey, toasted almond, dried fruit and vanilla with warm sweet spice. The palate is velvety and rounded, with dried-fruit sweetness, honey, almond and vanilla, and the finish is persistent, with caramel and a little light tobacco.
