Fonseca Guimaraens 20 Year Old Tawny Port (75cl, 20%)

This is a 20 Year Old Tawny Port from the house of Fonseca, made from Douro wines in Portugal. It is a blend of selected wines that have spent an average of two decades maturing in small oak casks. The long time in wood gives the port an amber colour. Aromas run to dried fruit, nuts, caramel and fine spices. On the palate it is balanced and soft, finishing elegantly. At 20% vol. in a 75cl bottle, it suits serving after dinner, or alongside desserts made with nuts or chocolate and with mature cheese.
