Fonseca Vintage Port 2017 (37.5cl)

Fonseca Vintage Port 2017 is a vintage port in a 37.5cl half bottle. The fruit comes from three quintas in Pinhao: Panascal, Cruzeiro and Santo António. It is a field blend of grapes including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Francesca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca, aged for about 20 months in used French oak. The colour is inky purple-black. The nose shows dark woodland fruit and red berries, held in check by a slatey minerality, with balsamic and cedar notes. The palate is dense with dark berry fruit, round and velvety, with firm tannins and crisp acidity, and a long finish.
