Formentini dal Collio Collio DOC Chardonnay

This Chardonnay from Formentini dal Collio comes from the Collio Goriziano area. It is made from selected Chardonnay grapes grown in the estate's vineyards. It is bright straw yellow with golden reflections. The nose is intensely fruity and floral, with green apple, peach, white flowers, vanilla and toasted notes from barrique ageing. On the palate it is balanced, combining freshness and minerality with structure and creaminess. It suits sophisticated dishes such as seafood risotto, elaborate fish dishes and white meats in creamy sauce, and can age well.
