Four Gate Batch 26 Andalusia Key II is a limited-release Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 58.2% ABV in a 75cl bottle. Just 4,014 bottles were produced.
The base bourbon, made from 75% corn, 20% rye and 5% malted barley, was aged for at least seven years and six months. It then had a second maturation in hybrid casks that previously held both Spanish Oloroso sherry and dark rum.
The nose offers stone fruit, molasses, floral notes and black pepper, with dried dark fruit and a hint of sugarcane. The palate is rich, with toasted nuts, orchard fruit, cinnamon, allspice and caramelised brown sugar. The finish is medium, with vanilla and pepper.
