Little Book Edition 1: The Infinite is a cask-strength blended bourbon from James B. Beam Distilling Co., bottled at 59.65% in a 750ml bottle. It is the first release in the Little Book series, created by Freddie Noe, an eighth-generation Beam distiller.
Four components make up the blend: a 20-year bourbon selected by Booker Noe, a 14-year bourbon chosen by Fred Noe, a 7-year bourbon from Freddie Noe and an 8-year family blend. Seventy per cent was bottled, while 30% was held in tanks to form the base of later editions.
The nose is brown sugar, dark cherries and baked apple, with leather and cedar. The palate adds caramel, vanilla custard and cinnamon. The finish is long, with white pepper and dry oak.
