The Malty is a limited release in the Four Styles series: a single malt from Inchgower in Speyside, in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2013 and aged for five years in select casks.
The nose brings malt porridge, crushed biscuit, honeyed cereal and a touch of orchard fruit. The palate is light to medium-bodied and creamy, with malty sweetness, apple skins, barley sugar and a touch of nutmeg. The finish is short to medium, with barley warmth and a faint waxy dryness.
