It comes from Villars near Echallat, in the 1er Cru de Cognac, where the chalky soils of Grande Champagne shape the spirit. The blend brings together carefully kept eaux-de-vie that matured for decades in the cellars of the family-run house.
It is bottled at 49% vol., a strength chosen to show the power and character of the region undiluted.
