Frascati Superiore DOCG Vigneto Santa Teresa - Fontana Candida

A Frascati Superiore DOCG from Fontana Candida, from the single Santa Teresa vineyard in the Castelli Romani. It is composed mainly of Malvasia del Lazio, also known as Malvasia Puntinata, with a complement of Trebbiano Toscano. Vinification is followed by ageing in barrique and further bottle ageing. It is intense golden yellow, with aromas of ripe white-fleshed fruit, white flowers, vanilla, sweet spice and a subtle mineral note. The palate is rich and enveloping, with balanced acidity and aroma, and a long, persistent finish with dried fruit and honey.
