A 2024 Freisa from Brezza, from the Langhe DOC.
The nose shows crisp red fruit, strawberry and cherry, with violet and a spicy note. The palate is straightforward, led by fresh fruit and a slightly bitter edge typical of the variety.
The finish is savoury and invites another sip. Serve at around 14-16 °C. It pairs with cured meats, Piedmontese dishes, tomato-based sauces, soft cheeses and roasted white meats.
