Gekkeikan Plum Wine is a Japanese plum wine made from plums grown in an orchard in Wakayama, picked by hand when ripe. The fruit is fermented and then aged, and the wine is bottled at 13% vol in a 75cl bottle.
It has a subtly sweet, natural plum flavour with a hint of tartness. It can be served chilled or over ice, used in cocktails, or poured over desserts.
