George Dickel 8 Year Old Bourbon is a handcrafted, small-batch whiskey from Tennessee, aged for eight years and bottled at 45% ABV. It is the first Dickel release to carry the word bourbon on the label, although the distillery's Tennessee whisky meets the criteria too.
The mashbill is 84% corn, 8% rye and 8% malted barley.
It opens with sweet vanilla, then moves to bright cherry and orange, with almond toffee and oak adding balance.
