George Dickel – Rye Whiskey (175cl, 45%)

George Dickel Rye is a Tennessee rye whisky made from a 95% rye mash bill and bottled at 45% ABV (90 proof). It comes in a 1.75 litre bottle. The whisky is mellowed through Dickel's chill-charcoal process, which gives a rye that is notably smooth for its high rye content while keeping a bold rye spice. On the palate it shows rye spice, mint and pepper softened by vanilla, with a smooth, mellow body. The finish is clean and balanced.
