George Dickel – Signature Recipe No.12 Tennessee Whiskey (75cl, 45%)

This is George Dickel No.12, a Tennessee whiskey made in Tullahoma and bottled at 45% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It is filtered through sugar maple charcoal using the Lincoln County Process before ageing in charred oak barrels. The No.12 is not an age statement. The whiskey has a warm amber colour and is made from corn, rye and malted barley. The nose is sweet, with caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and a hint of corn sweetness. The palate is medium-bodied, with toffee, vanilla and baking spices. The finish is soft and warming, with lingering sweetness, gentle spice and light oak dryness.
