Sé is a Salento Primitivo IGT from Gianfranco Fino in Puglia, vintage 2024.
It comes from young, bush-trained vines. The wine spends 9 months in barrique, partly new and partly first-passage, then rests a further 6 months in bottle. It is structured without losing elegance.
Ruby red, it is broad and intense on the nose, with cherry, wild berries, Mediterranean scrub and balsamic tones. The palate is soft and silky, and the finish lingers. It works well with meat pasta dishes and with braised or grilled red meat.
