This is a single grain whisky from Girvan, a Lowlands distillery, from the 1989 vintage. It was bottled by Elixir Distillers for The Whisky Trail series at 55.8% and comes in a 70cl bottle. William Grant & Sons founded Girvan in 1963 so that its blends would have a grain distillery of their own. Between 1966 and 1976 an experimental malt distillery, Ladyburn, also operated on the site.
