This is a 25 year old single grain whisky from Girvan, a Lowlands distillery, and it is the distillery's own bottling. It was matured in oak casks and bottled at 42% in a 70cl bottle.
William Grant & Sons founded Girvan in 1963 to give their blends a grain distillery of their own. Between 1966 and 1976 the site also held an experimental malt distillery called Ladyburn.
