Glasgow 1770 is the first core range single malt from The Glasgow Distillery Company, shown here in its 2019 release. It is a Lowland malt with a youthful, clean and fresh character. The whisky is matured in ex-bourbon casks and then finished in American virgin oak. Bright spirit character sits alongside vanilla sweetness and gentle oak spice, and the virgin oak finish adds structure and depth.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
