This is a 19 year old single malt from Glen Breton, bottled at 43% in a 75cl bottle. It belongs to a series of malts matured only in hand-picked American oak casks.
It won Best North American Single Malt Whisky (Platinum Medal) at the 2023 LA Spirits Awards, and also took Silver medals at the 2023 Whiskies of the World Awards and the 2024 World Whisky Awards.
The nose combines orange, pine, honey, oil and brine with a little smoke. The palate is warm and rich, with pepper, cedar, lemon, hazelnut and maple, leading to a long, smooth finish.
