This Glen Elgin is an independent bottling from Watt Whisky, in a 70cl bottle at 55.3% ABV. It was distilled in 2013 and matured for 11 years in a hogshead, and 270 bottles were released.
The cask brought out the distillery's weighty character, with tropical and orchard fruit and a waxy texture.
Peach, mango and apricot come through alongside lemon meringue sweetness, honeyed malt and gentle spice.
