This is a 12 year old single malt from Glen Elgin, in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was built in 1898 and began production in 1901. Almost all of its maturation uses refill casks.
The nose is sweet, with almonds and marzipan alongside orange juice, grain, bourbon and chopped wood. The palate is soft, full and sweet, followed by a slightly dry close.
