Glen Elgin – 2011 14 Year Old Signatory Vintage 100 Proof Edition #82 Oloroso Sherry Butt Finish (70cl, 57.1%)

This is a 14 year old Glen Elgin from Speyside, distilled in 2011 and bottled by Signatory Vintage as Edition #82. It is finished in Oloroso sherry butts and bottled at 100 Proof, which is 57.1% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The sherry finish adds dried fruit, cocoa and warming spice to a core of orchard fruit and honeyed malt, while the distillery character stays visible beneath the oak.
