A Glen Grant distilled in 1950 and bottled after 65 years in cask. Gordon & MacPhail and Wealth Solutions released it in 2015 as a limited single cask edition, drawn from cask 2747.
It is bottled at a cask strength of 59.3%, in a 70cl bottle, with natural colour and no chill-filtering.
Tasting notes describe a nose of tropical fruit, papaya and banana, with menthol and fine earthy touches of moss and watercress. With water the palate turns rounder, with old coconut liqueur, tea, plum wine and cinnamon. The finish is fairly long and fruity, with barley wine and orange liqueur.
