This is a 23 year old single malt from Glen Grant in Speyside, distilled on 16 November 1992 and bottled in April 2016 by the Creative Whisky Company for its Exclusive Malts series.
It matured in a single bourbon hogshead and yielded 138 bottles. It was bottled at a cask strength of 50.1%, without chill-filtration or added colour.
The nose brings apples, peaches, pineapple and passion fruit alongside sweet vanilla and floral notes. On the palate come spiced ginger cake, redcurrant, pomelo and salted caramel with a light mineral edge. The finish is long, with cloves, nutmeg and ginger, then apple tart and vanilla custard.
