This Glen Moray is an eleven-year-old single cask from Speyside, bottled by Brave New Spirits as part of its WhiskyHeroes series under the name The Malt Marauder. It was distilled in 2014 and finished in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt, with 655 bottles filled at 53.3%.
It is the fourth batch of the series, and is non-chill-filtered and without added colour.
Fresh apples and pears with light spice show on the nose. The palate offers sweet caramel and toffee with a touch of oak, and the long, warming finish ends with a bright citrus freshness.
