This is a 12 year old Glen Moray made for the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders, in recognition of the regiment's fondness for whisky in its mess halls. It comes in a tin case. Glen Moray began operating in Speyside in 1897 and is owned by La Martiniquaise.
The nose gives vanilla and honey first, then grass and cereals. The palate is fruity and floral, with white chocolate and malt. The finish is short, with caramel, vanilla and oak.
