Glen Moray 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the distillery in Elgin, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured for twelve years exclusively in American oak ex-bourbon barrels. Glen Moray began as a brewery before becoming a distillery in 1897.
The nose brings honeyed porridge, baked apples and a dash of cinnamon. The palate is silky, with vanilla fudge, soft malt, a touch of citrus and light spice. The finish is medium in length, with butterscotch, nutty oak and soft orchard fruit.
