Glen Moray 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt and the flagship of the distillery's Elgin Heritage range. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky is aged exclusively in American oak casks, with no finish or unusual casks involved.
The nose has crisp green apple skin, rhubarb boiled sweets and buttery shortbread, with subtly herbaceous oak developing. The palate is chewy barley with a drizzle of syrup, a touch of apricot and crushed honey-roasted nuts. The finish is white chocolate and oak.
