Glen Moray Sherry Cask Double Cask is a Speyside single malt from a distillery on the River Lossie in Elgin, where whisky has been distilled since 1897.
It is matured first in American oak casks, then finished in Oloroso sherry casks sourced from Jerez in Spain.
It has a burnished gold colour. The nose offers sun-dried fruits, toasted cinnamon and toffee. The palate brings sweet vanilla oak, dark chocolate and oriental spice. The finish is long and rich, with warm spice and bittersweet dark chocolate.
