Glen Scotia 10 Year Old is an unpeated Campbeltown single malt in a 700ml bottle at 40% ABV. It is fully matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, which balance distillery character with the influence of the wood.
It shows the Campbeltown traits of gentle seaspray, green fruits with a hint of citrus, creamy vanilla and gentle spice.
The nose offers seaspray, sliced apple, lemon zest and toasted oak. The palate is very syrupy, with melted brown sugar, orange marmalade, tangy pineapple and creamy vanilla oak. The finish is long, with gentle ground ginger and cinnamon.
