This is a 14 year old Campbeltown single malt from Glen Scotia, distilled in 2011 and bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society as cask 93.230, called Caribbean Dreams in Campbeltown. It comes from a single first-fill ex-bourbon hogshead, which yielded 200 bottles, and was released for the Campbeltown Malts Festival as part of the Creators Collection. The tasting notes are fruity and sweet: mango, pear, honey and vanilla custard with lime and mint. Coconut cornbread with sweet lime butter appears on the palate, and the finish brings salted caramel ice cream.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
