First-fill Amontillado sherry butt finish
A 15-year-old Campbeltown single malt from Glen Scotia, distilled in 2010 and made for the distillery's Unlocked community. Andalusian Reserve celebrates the sherry heritage of Andalusia in southern Spain, and 672 bottles were filled. The whisky matured in a first-fill Bourbon cask, then spent more than five years in a first-fill Amontillado sherry butt, which has a strong influence on it. The nose is manuka honey over dried apricots and toasted almonds, with sea spray, cinnamon and nutmeg. Caramel, creamy vanilla, dried fruit and warming spice lead the palate, and the long finish brings drying walnut and dark cocoa.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
