Glen Scotia 15 Years Old is a Campbeltown single malt, matured in American oak barrels before bottling at 46% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose carries vanilla oak with sea spray and spicy, aromatic fruits. Citrus peel and ginger snap biscuits come through, then apricot that moves towards fruit salad, with baked fruit emerging when water is added.
The palate is drier than the nose suggests, filling out as the first impression fades, with caramelised notes alongside the wood when water is added. The finish is firm and slightly dry.
