Glen Scotia – 2011/2025 Whiskyopolis Campbeltown Saga No.1 (70cl, 50%)

This is a Campbeltown single malt from Glen Scotia, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2025 at 50% in a 70cl bottle. It is the first release in the Campbeltown Saga, a series created with master distiller Iain McAlister and inspired by Campbeltown's Victorian heyday as a whisky town. It is a medium peated malt matured in first-fill bourbon casks. Peated spirit is made at Glen Scotia for only one month of the year. The whisky is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring. It is described as oily and maritime, with coastal notes, a salty breeze and peat smoke.
