Glen Scotia – Double Cask Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Glen Scotia Double Cask is a Campbeltown single malt, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle without chill filtration. The distillery has been working since 1832. It begins in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels and is then finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which add dried fruit and spice to the vanilla and caramel from the bourbon wood. The nose has vanilla pods, caramel fudge, sea salt and orchard fruit. The palate brings honeyed malt, toffee, red apple and spicy oak, and the finish is medium to long with dried fruit, pepper and a touch of salinity.
