This is an 11 year old single malt from GlenAllachie, bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky spent its first nine years in American oak barrels before it was moved into ruby Port pipes for a finish.
The nose is floral, with a hint of Turkish delight, honeyed spices, melted dark chocolate and dark stone fruit. On the palate, tart damson is balanced by white and dark chocolate and fresh summer berries. The finish is dusty cocoa and frozen berries.
