GlenAllachie 11 Years is a Speyside single malt finished for almost two years in certified organic Super Tuscan barriques of French oak from the Grattamacco estate in Bolgheri, Tuscany. It is bottled at 48%, unfiltered and without added colouring.
It belongs to the GlenAllachie Maiden Wine Cask Finish Series of wine cask finishes.
In the glass it is a rich ruby red. Tasting notes describe a nose of honey, peaches and apricots with toffee, almonds and orange peel, and a palate of toffee, heather honey, red berries and peaches, with apricots, orange peel and nutmeg.
