This is a 12-year-old GlenAllachie single malt finished in Pedro Ximenez puncheons. The whisky spent over ten years in American oak barrels before moving to the puncheons for additional maturation, which makes it sweeter and fruitier. It is bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is full of raisins, sultanas, dark chocolate, bananas and orange peel. On the palate come fruit cake, dark chocolate, toffee, bananas, orange peel and sweet spices.
