GlenAllachie 12 Years Old is the flagship single malt of the Speyside distillery, first released in 2018 and bottled at 46%.
It is matured in a mix of dry oloroso and sweet Pedro Ximénez sherry casks together with new American oak, giving a rich profile of fruit, oak and vanilla.
The nose offers baked banana, almond, cola cubes and freshly cut oak. The palate has ginger and raisins, oily barley and creamy vanilla, followed by a finish with a very light chocolate note.
