GlenAllachie – 18 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

An 18 year old single malt from GlenAllachie, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. Master Distiller Billy Walker, who has fifty years in blending, chose the casks from across the distillery's 16 warehouses, some of which date back to the 1970s. This is the bottle design introduced in 2024. The nose is chocolate Brazil nuts, floral honey, dark sugar and raisins. The palate opens with silky toffee and dried heather, then honeyed fruit cake, forest fruits, nutty spice and old oak. The finish is long, with caramelised nuts, baking spice, muscovado and roasted barley.
