This is a seven-year-old single cask Speyside malt from Glenallachie, selected by the independent bottler A.D. Rattray. It was distilled on 23 April 2007, matured in a first-fill sherry butt and bottled on 23 April 2014 at a cask strength of 65.1%.
The outturn is 590 bottles, and the whisky is non-chill-filtered. It is a dark amber colour.
The nose is rich with molasses, sweet sherry, toffee and dark fruit, including blackberry and blueberry. On the palate come sweet toffee, walnuts, mocha, cocoa, dates and ginger marmalade.
