A Highland single malt from Glencadam, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2023 at 11 years old for the SMWS as cask 82.46, named Grist Tea. It is bottled at 62.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in a single first-fill ex-bourbon cask, and 202 bottles were filled.
The nose offers lemon air freshener, warm milled grist, mentholated green herbs, custard and condensed milk, with orange peel, almond oil and baked peaches with honey once water is added. The palate opens with pineapple icing, tropical fruit juices, poached pears and green tea, and water brings out dried herbs, soda bread and lemon cough drops.
