This is a 13 year old Highland single malt from Glencadam, matured in a single Pedro Ximenez Spinola cask and bottled at 58% in a 70cl bottle. It is one of 285 bottles from that cask.
The bottling marks the opening of Whisky Situation Aberdeen, the city's largest whisky bar and cigar lounge. The cask was chosen for its chocolatey, woody character, and the whisky has no added colour and no filtration.
The nose offers dried figs, black cherries and spices with toffee. The palate brings chocolate fudge cake, maple syrup and candied pecans over toasted oak, and the finish runs to coffee cake, dates and grilled pineapple.
